Adapt Courseware and Eduventures Lead Insightful Session on Innovation in Teaching and Learning

Denver, CO (PRWEB) July 07, 2014

Adapt Courseware, which provides state-of-the-art adaptive learning multimedia, is presenting at this year's Sloan-C Blended Learning Conference, kicking off tomorrow in Denver. According to Sloan-C, higher education institutions worldwide are using a blended approach to enhance student learning, facilitate student access, meet instructional and institutional goals, and find solutions for diminishing resources.

"Sloan-C gathers campus innovators who are leading a transformation in higher education - those who see opportunities to embrace processes and technology that improve teaching and learning, as well as drive tangible results," said Mark Brodsky, CEO of Adapt Courseware. "We are excited to meet with these thought leaders to explore ways to deliver an experience that is not only dynamic and flexible at scale, yet also outcomes-based."

Adapt Courseware is teaming up with Eduventures for the session "Enhancing Instruction with Adaptive Learning Strategies." Discussion will include perspective on the adaptive learning space, as well as strategies to configure an engaging and personalized education experience by making content more interactive and adaptive, including pre-built rich multimedia content, publisher content, an instructor's own online content, or any combination of resources.

Additionally, session leaders will present findings from the newly published Eduventures report, "Maximizing Investment in Adaptive Learning." According to its research, Eduventures calls adaptive learning one of the more compelling innovations in teaching and learning to take root in recent years.

Adapt Courseware is a National Platinum Sponsor of Sloan-C. In addition to its breakout session, which takes place on Tuesday, July 8th at 1:00 p.m., Adapt Courseware will also be exhibiting at the conference, as well as hosting a focus group whereby attendees will explore authoring and instructional design tools that will allow them to take coursework and student engagement to a new level.

The Blended Learning Conference provides the opportunity for innovative instructors and faculty members, instructional designers, student advisors, administrative leaders, and researchers to share best practices, strategic considerations, models of practice, and challenges revealed through their experiences. It takes place July 8th and 9th at the Sheraton Denver Downtown.
