Grant will help Nebraska rail business expand

Posted: Updated:

SIDNEY, Neb. (AP) - A western Nebraska company is planning to expand its rail logistics business and add seven miles of track and switching equipment.

Adams Industries expects to add 25 full-time jobs as part of the $7.35 million project.

The company says it helps take products and commodities from trucks and load them onto trains and vice versa.

The Nebraska Department of Economic Development gave Cheyenne County an $855,000 grant to help with the project.

Adams Industries also has locations in Omaha, Houston and Commerce City, Colorado.
