Four arrested for possession of stolen copper wire

Lincoln Police arrested four men they say tried to sell close to one thousand pounds of copper wire.

Police say 65 spools of wire were stolen from a construction site near 33rd and Yankee Hill early Friday morning. They estimate the spools cost around $26 thousand.

Police say four men were trying to sell the copper wire at the Alter Trading Corporation near 6100 N. 70th Street, Friday afternoon. Police arrested three of the men and one turned himself in.

20-year-old Derek Bauer, 24-year-old Joey Delaney, 20-year-old Matthew Agena, and 19-year-old Dakotta Clark are arrested for felony possession of stolen property.
