A van rolled onto its side while driving on the I-180 North and W. Cornhusker Hwy. exit late Wednesday night.

The van forced Lincoln Fire and Rescue to block off the exit from oncoming traffic for more than an hour until the vehicle was cleared. No other vehicle was involved in the accident. The van suffered significant damage.

Police said the van's driver fled the scene with another person, but LPD caught both. Police have given no word on what the driver was ticketed for.

Two were sent from the crash site to the hospital, but police said they were released early Thursday morning.
