The Cedar County Sheriff's Office is investigating a crash that took the life of a rural Randolph man.
Officials say the incident happened one mile west of Belden around 11 a.m. Friday. They say 74-year-old Delbert Stevens was driving a pickup eastbound on Highway 20 when it crossed the center line and collided head on with a westbound semi. Stevens was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials say he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. The semi driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
