Another international crisis brought even more protestors to the Capitol Saturday.

A couple dozen people stood on the Capitol steps to call for peace in the Middle East. Several of the protestors were Palestinian. Organizer Nadia Eddmeiri says the United States giving financial aid to Israel is only ending in more deaths.

"Please help the right way," Eddmeiri said, "don't go bomb somebody and then drop a bag of flour or oil on them and say we're feeding you."

The Mideast crisis has now killed more than 1,700 people in the last three weeks. A vast majority of them are Palestinian civilians.
