Lincoln police say a 24-year-old Lincoln woman was killed Monday night after a motorcycle accident at 52nd & O Streets. Police say Jaclyn Kehling died from her injuries after the motorcycle she was riding collided with a car.

Rescue crews were called to the intersection around 7:00 p.m. Police say the car was traveling west, turning south onto 52nd when the eastbound motorcycle collided with the vehicle.

Traffic on O Street from 48th to 52nd was shut down for about three hours while police reconstructed the scene.

No arrests have been made, nor citations issued, but police say they are still investigating.

Channel 8 Eyewitness News Reporter Jenn Schanz is sitting down with some of Kehling's close friends today. She'll have the full story tonight at 5 & 6.
