A grand jury has cleared the Lancaster County Sheriff's office of any criminal wrongdoing in the shooting death of 64-year-old Douglas D. Damoude last June.  Members of the Lancaster County Sheriff's office shot Damoude while serving an eviction notice at his home.  Damoude pointed a rifle directly at the sheriff's as they entered, according to a news release from the Lancaster County Attorney's office.

The deputies involved were previously cleared of any wrong doing by an internal, LSO, investigation.

The autopsy report states that the cause of death was gunshot wounds to the head.
