Virginia Dorf says she's struggled with weight all her life, but the tipping point came in the Fall of 2013.  Dorf explains, "I got on a plane and I could not buckle the seatbelt so it was time to do something."

Weighing in at 284-pounds, she decided to participate in the 20 weeks LifeTracks program at Bryan LifePointe.  "I told Ashley, the dietician, if she told me what to do, I would do it and I haven't looked back," says Dorf.

During the 20 week program the 39–year–old lost 68-pounds.  She kept up the work afterwards and almost doubled that number.  She's gone from a size 24 to a size 8. She says she now loves to shop, "I do a lot of clothes shopping.  Before I never wanted to clothes shop and now I do!"

LifeTracks is a medically supervised meal replacement program for rapid and safe weight loss with skill building to help patient's keep off the weight.  Dietician, Ashley Larson, meets with the participants weekly, going over meal plans with a meal replacement product, counting calories and much more. Larson says, "It really is life changing because it gives those tools really needed to be successful long–term, we go through all the different aspects."

Dorf Says the program's structure is what helped her, explaining, "LifePointe and LifeTracks is a gift to yourself.  It will change your life… it's the best thing I've ever done for myself."

Larson says the program has a 65 percent completion rate.  The most anyone's ever lost in 20 weeks is 86-pounds.  The average person will lose about 30.
