A cashier was robbed at gunpoint at a north Lincoln convenience store.

It happened a little before 3 a.m. Monday morning at the Kwik-Shop near 14th and Adams. Police say two masked men entered the store- one of them armed with a handgun. Officials say they demanded money from the cashier, took him to the back of the store and bound his hands before taking off with cash and cigarettes.

Nobody was injured.

Police say the men are described as two black males wearing ski masks. One is described as being in his thirties, about 5'10" and 160 pounds. The other is reported to be younger, about 5'6" and 220 pounds. Officials say the suspects were last seen running northbound.

Police continue to investigate. We'll have more on our midday show at 11.
