According to the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office, three Omaha teenagers are in the hospital recovering after a crash.

They say it happened around 3:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon near 96th and Capehart Road.

They say three people were in the car when the driver, a 16 year old  lost control on the gravel road.

Officials say the vehicle veered to the north of the road into the ditch, where it struck a culvert and rolled.

They say one of the passengers was thrown from the car and two others were trapped inside.

Fire and Rescue crews say  two occupants were transported to the University of Nebraska Medical Center by rescue squad and one occupant was flown to the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

All three suffered serious injuries.  Deputies say the driver was wearing a seat belt, the passengers  were not.
