A group of local students are taking their love for photography outside the classroom. They've helped to create a photo club at UNL.
About 30 of the university's most passionate picture-takers meet each month for Photo Club meetings. Club members are a mix of graduate and undergraduate students.
What sets Photo Club apart from many of the other on-campus clubs, is that students do it to build their career, not just have fun.
"This isn't really like a hobby for us. We're here to study art as a profession. We take what we do very seriously," says Zora Murff, a Photo Club member.
Each month club members meet to share their recent photos and plan trips to photography conferences. The club also gives students a time to collaborate with other photographers.
