A Crete teen was ticketed for driving under suspension and obscured plates after a Monday night traffic stop.

A Lincoln Police Sergeant noticed a blue Nissan with paper taped over the license plates driving near 21st and K streets.

When the sergeant pulled the car over, the driver and passenger switched seats. Police then say the teen dropped a debit card to the floor of the vehicle.

The debit card didn't belong to either teen in the car.

The 17-year-old driver was ticketed and his probation officer was notified.

Police are still investigating the debit card.
