OMAHA, Neb. - Dozens of pets will be making their way to the Omaha-area coming from Oklahoma, which is in the midst of an animal crisis. 

Tulsa Animal Welfare says they are overcrowded and euthanizing animals at an alarming rate. 

On Tuesday, more than 50 dogs and cats were killed but Muddy Paws Second Chance in Omaha is saving at least 20 pets. The group says the pets will be staying in foster homes until they can find forever homes.
