Fresh Start Home unveils kindness meter meant to bring smiles, donations to the homeless
The Fresh Start Home unveiled their new Kindness Meter Monday morning.
It was created in a partnership between The Lincoln Police Department and Fresh Start, and will travel to various Fresh Start Home events.
The meter does collect donations, but its creators said the point is more to remind people to be kind and compassionate to everyone around them, especially those experiencing homelessness.
The Fresh Start Home is a home for women experiencing homelessness. They're in need of paper products like toilet paper and paper towels right now.
The kindness meter will make its debut at the home's event Project Funway on November 2nd. You can donate money through the meter or drop off paper products at that event.
