Two hospitalized, one arrested after fight between neighbors
35-year-old Andrew Love faces two counts of 2nd degree assault after police said he got in a fight with two neighbors Wednesday evening.
Lincoln Police Officer Luke Bonkiewicz said police were called to a home near 28th and Q street on reports of a fight between four neighbors.
Bonkiewicz said the victims, a 37-year-old male and a 36-year-old female reported that Love hit them with a bat and a second suspect hit them with a golf club.
Police arrested Love, but are still working to identify the second suspect.
The male victim had a contusion on his head, injuries to both of his shins and a two inch puncture wound on his side. The female victim had visible injuries to her face and and hands and a gash on the back of her head.
The victims didn't want to be transported by ambulance, but drove themselves to the hospital.
