Saturday’s 6 inches of snow caused quite a problem as they drove into work or drove for their work.

The snow even caused Lincoln Fire and Rescue crews had to put chains on their tires in an effort to help cut down on their response time to an emergency situation.

"Absolutely it's a paralyzing feeling and being in emergency services we're expected and we want to get to the scene of an emergency in a timely fashion, and there was a call for service early this morning we sent the medic unit on it the county and the road just aren't as maintained as well in the county as they are in the city,” Allan Crist with Lincoln Fire and Rescue said.

Rescue crews and all experienced drivers say to go slow and take your time getting to your eventual destination when it comes to snowy road conditions.
