12-year-old Ravenna Boy Shoots Innocent Bystander
A shooting in central Nebraska on Tuesday has made national news. The biggest reason? A twelve year old boy from Ravenna is accused of holding a girl at gunpoint and then shooting the man she ran to for help.
On Wednesday he appeared in juvenille court. Sheriff Neil Miller says they still don't know why the boy allegedly pulled out a gun and began shooting.
The man the boy shot remains in stable condition at a Kearney hospital.. The girl was not injured. So far, no charges have been filed, but when they do, the boy will be charged as a juvenille.
