15-Month-Old Omaha Boy Located After Amber Alert

Omaha Police say they have located a 15-month-old Omaha boy who was the subject of an amber alert.

Authorities say the boy was taken by his father on Christmas Eve. Omaha police say 15-month-old Jarez Wilson Jr. was taken around 6 a.m. Thursday. Police say the boy and his mother were sleeping when the boy's father, Jarez Wilson, kicked in the front door and tried to take the baby.

A struggle between Wilson and the mother ensued before he fled with his son in a four-door car. Police say the boy may have been injured. By late Thursday morning, authorities found the car on the northwest edge of Omaha, but were continuing their search for the boy and Wilson. 

Around 12:45 p.m. the boy was located and being evaluated by medical personnel.  No other information is being released at this time.
