2010 Census Creates Thousands of Temporary Jobs

Officials with the US Census Bureau need to fill thousands of temporary jobs as they gear up for the 2010 Census.

The next stage of the count needs hundreds of people to visit nebraska homes and verify addresses.

Census officials say this will improve accuracy when they mail surveys in 2010.

The Bureau needs people who know their local area well and can work as many as 40 hours a week.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and u-s citizens.

A written test is required.
