2011 Mother’s Day Contest

Channel 8 KLKN-TV and sponsor's of the Mother's Day Contest on klkntv.com are looking to honor one mother.  You can enter your mom for a chance to win a prize package consisting of $50 gift certificates and/or cards from Wild Bird Habitat Store, Oak Creak Plants and Flowers, Lebeda Mattress Ashley Lynn's Tanning and the Spa at LifePointe by BryanLGH.  All you have to do is fill out the online entry form before midnight on Mother's Day and you will be eligible for the drawing to be held on May 9th.  See below for official rules.

Rules and Regulations Summary

To nominate your mom for the Channel 8 KLKN-TV Mother's Day Contest, fill out the online entry form, below. There will be one winner chosen by a random drawing.  The winner will receive a $50 gift card and/or certificate from our four sponsors.  The contest starts April 25th and drawing will be held at noon on Monday, May 9th.

General Rules

  • Fill out the online entry form
  • No purchase necessary.
  • Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. 
  • Only one entry per family per household per contest please.
  • Employees, agents, marketing firms or families of Channel 8 KLKN-TV, Oak Creek Plants and Flowers, Wild Bird Habitat, Lebeda Mattress and the Spa at LifePointe by BryanLGH are not eligible to participate.
  • No prize will be awarded without proper identification.
  • The winner will be determined by a random drawing at Channel 8 KLKN-TV which will be held on May 9th. 
  • Winner will receive $50 gift cards or certificates from our sponsors; Oak Creek Plants and Flowers, Wild Bird Habitat, Lebeda Mattress Ashley Lynn's Tanning and the Spa at LifePointe by BryanLGH. 
  • All decisions by our judges are final.
  • No substitutions or exceptions.
  • KLKN-TV reserves the right to reject a claim to a prize based on contest irregularities.
  • KLKN is not responsible for misuse of prizes, and will not accept liability if a prize is used or misused in a manner other than those in an owner's manual.
  • Entrants must reside within the Channel 8 KLKN-TV DMA, as defined by The Nielsen Company.
  • Odds of winning any prizes depend upon the number of entries received.  Example: if 2000 entries are received then the entrant has a one in two thousand chance of winning.
  • Value of the prize is $200.

Limitations

– Only one entry per unique email address will be eligible during the contest.
– Winners MUST present a valid drivers license or state issued ID to claim their prize. No prize will be awarded without proper identification.
– All other costs associated with accepting, redeeming and using prize, include local, state and federal taxes is the responsibility of the winner.
Channel 8 KLKN-TV and its sponsors are not responsible for any unforeseen or unavoidable technical issues that may affect the registration process and reserves the right to reject a claim to a prize based on contest irregularities.
– Channel 8 KLKN-TV and its sponsors are not responsible for misuse of prizes, and will not accept liability if a prize is misused in any manner.|
-Prizes must be claimed within 90 days of the end of the promotion.
– All decisions by our judges are final.
-No substitutions unless agreed upon by the sponsor and prizes are not redeemable for cash.
