308th Welcomed Home

It's been 17 months since the Lincoln based 308th Transportation Company has set foot on the home front. But Tuesday night, they reunited with family and friends.

For the last year and a half, they've called northern Kuwait home. There they worked to transport fuel and supplies over the border into Iraq.

The soldiers from the 308th served longer in the Middle East than any other Nebraska unit. They'll have three months, to catch up with family and friends, before they have to report to their regular drills.
