A Lincoln Man is in Critical Condition After Being Shot in the Face Sunday Morning

A Lincoln man is in critical condition after being shot early Sunday morning. Police say the man was shot in the face by a passenger in the car he was driving. That passenger is under arrest. The shooting happened at about 12:30 Sunday morning near 78th and Cooper Ave. The victim is still fighting for his life. 32-year old Mark Purkoski was shot in the face by 34-year old Marvin Troy Heise. Purkoski remains in critical condition at Bryan LGH West, and the shooting is still under investigation.
