A New Amendment Is In The Works To Fix Nebraska’s Drought Woes
An amendment that will bring relief from a multi-year drought plaguing the west and northern plains has passed in the senate. The amendment which got unanimous senate approval, is attached to a bill, aimed at providing more assistance to hurricane victims. The amendment will bring almost three billion dollars in relief, and will be distributed through the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The bill now goes to a conference committee where they'll compare it with a similar version passed by the house.
