A Walk-Out is Planned for some U-N-L Students Protesting a War with Iraq

With developments in the Middle East happening almost daily, support for a war against Iraq continues to waver both abroad–and right here in Nebraska. Among those protesting the war are two student groups at the University of Nebraska Students. They're planning a walk-out this Wednesday as a way for students to show they disagree with war in Iraq.

Protesters will meet in the campus union where they can listen to speakers and view anti-war displays. Organizers say they expect a few hundred students to join the protest, but hope for a turnout in the thousands. The protest takes place all day Wednesday on the U-N-L campus.
