Accident sends woman to hospital with life-threatening injuries

After a scary crash at 9th and O Street, one person is fighting for their life.

Lincoln police say three vehicles collided at the intersection around 7p.m.

Officers say a westbound Mazda, on O Street, ran a red light, collided with a southbound SUV and then spun into an eastbound truck.

The woman with life-threatening injuries was in the backseat of the Mazda.

Captain Danny Reitan expects the area will reopen to traffic around 10p.m.
