The start of school is right around the corner.

On Wednesday many were busy stuffing the bus in Lincoln at the annual “Stuff The Bus” fundraiser. It took place at the Raising Cane’s at 56th and Old Cheney.

Channel 8, Raising Cane’s, and Latsch’s teamed up again for the event.

Many donated classroom supplies, like paper, pencils and backpacks, for underprivileged children,

“I know it means a big thing to the schools. I think we helped 23,000 kids last year. Hopefully we’ll eclipse that,” said Latsch’s Owner Miker Decker.

“To be honest, we couldn’t do this without your support. So truly from the bottom of my heart and from the rest of raising canes, we truly appreciate your partnership,” Dee Walker, with Raising Cane’s Marketing said.

You can continue to bring in school supplies to any Raising Cane’s in Lincoln thru August 7th. In return, you can get a free lemonade.
