Annual Uncle Sam Jam

This Tuesday at Oak Lake Park, the city of Lincoln will hold its annual Uncle Sam Jam and crews are working non–stop to make sure it's all spectacular.

More than 200 yards of cable will line the two thousand fireworks set to go off.

The 22 minute show is finely choreographed to patriotic tunes from Bruce Springsteen to Lee Greenwood.

And crews have to precisely fire each firework to go “boom” at just the right time.  John Stubbs with Zambelli Fireworks says, “A lot of sweat and blood goes into it and after that last shell gets fired, it's well worth it.”

The show starts Tuesday night at 10 from Oak Lake Park.
