Auto parts maker bringing jobs to Beatrice
A Pennsylvania-based auto parts manufacturer's consolidation plans include bringing 70 to 90 jobs to Beatrice.
Neapco Components, announce Friday that its manufacturing operations in Pottstown, Pennsylvania will be phased out over the next 18 to 24 months and consolidated into its manufacturing facility in Beatrice, Nebraska.
Keith Sanford, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Neapco Components, said the combining of the manufacturing operations into Beatrice alows the company to better concentrate its focus on driveline products for customers.
The Beatrice plant currently employs about 120 people.
