Average Tax Refund Increasing

Two-thirds of Nebraskans have yet to file their taxes, but if you're one of them, they're may be good news. Experts are reporting that on average, refunds are up two hundred dollars. Tax prepares say the reason is because people are taking more advantage of tax credits, such as the child tax credit which gives parents a one-thousand dollar break for their dependent child. The Feds say as of now, the average return is just over 24-hundred dollars.
