Bolts Blast Rams For Class B Title

On Saturday night, Lincoln's Pius X finished off an improbable run to win the Class B state boys basketball title.  The seventh seeded Thunderbolts defeated number one seed Ralston 64-38 in a laugher.  Pius X took an 18-6 first quarter lead and never looked back.  The Bolts outscored the Rams in every quarter on route to their first boys basketball title since 2000.  Tyler Shreve (16), Adam Brill (15), Garrett Hernadez (12), and Tony Schultz (11) led the way for Pius's offense.  At one point this season Pius X had a 7-7 record, but they finished the year on a 7 game winning streak.
