A robber targets a Lincoln bank and gets away with a backpack full of cash. The robbery happened at 9:30 Thursday morning at the Nebraska Bank of Commerce near north 14th and Q streets.  Police are still looking for the suspect who reportedly robbed the NBC bank Thursday morning.
Lincoln police say a man walked into the bank and handed an employee a piece of paper demanding money.
They say the employee took out the cash from the register and placed it into the suspect's backpack. The robber then took off heading north on 14th street.
“We're looking for a white male, about 5'7″-5'8″, heavy build, wearing a dark colored ball cap, sunglasses and a brown shirt and tan cargo pants and carrying a backpack where he put the money,” Capt. David Beggs said.

Lincoln police also say the suspect has medical bandages on the left side of his face.
