Bryan Health introduces balance test machine

Bryan Health is helping those who suffer from frequent falls figure out why it's happening.

Bryan Health's west campus has high–tech equipment to determine why people suffer from improper balance. One of their machine called the Balance Master can figure out if a person is falling from optical, inner ear, or bodily issues.

“Our whole goal is to really help decrease people's risk of falling,” Ed Meelhuysen of Bryan Health said. “And for those who are falling, really get their quality of life back. Because many people are scared to leave their house, because many are scared of falling.”

Bryan Health treats a wide variety of patients, including those whose balance has suddenly become off, and others who have suffered a stroke or head injury.
