Lincoln's newest performance arena is just about ready to welcome it's first act. Tickets to see Michael Bublé go on sale Friday, May 17th at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.
After selling out venues in London and Dublin, Bublé will grace Lincoln's brand new stage with songs from his fourth consecutive number one album, including his number one selling hit “To Be Loved.”
The Grammy-award-winning artist will ring in Lincoln's newest entertainment venue on Friday, Sept. 13th.
The Pershing Center's Marketing Director Derek Anderson says choosing Bublé to ring in the new arena was strategic.
“We were looking for an opening night attraction that was outstanding, and certainly Michael Bublé fits that bill, but he's got wide appeal,” he says.
Bublé, who has been described as the Sinatra of his generation, has had global sales of 45 million albums over the course of his career.
“He's really at the top of his game right now. he's a Grammy award winner, he's on a 40-city-tour, and Lincoln is the fourth stop on the U.S. leg of that tour, and we're thrilled to be able to announce our grand opening show,” Anderson continues.
Along with Bublé the Pinnacle Bank Arena's artist roster includes Pink, who's Nov. 9th show is already sold out, and Jason Aldean, who will be performing on Sept. 19th.
“If early bookings are any indication I think people can look forward to a lot of good attractions,” says Anderson.
Anderson isn't quantifying his expectations, but says he's confident Buble tickets will do very well.
Michael Bublé tickets can be purchased at the Pershing Center box office, online at ticketmaster.com., any Ticketmaster outlet, or by phone order at 1-800-745-3000.
