Cable Rates To Go Up
It's going to cost Time Warner Cable subscribers a few extra dollars to see their favorite shows next year. In January, the company is increasing its rates for basic cable by about two and a half dollars a month. People with packages including basic cable will also see increases ranging from three to five percent. Time Warner Officials say higher programming costs, as well as new employees and services are driving costs up. Movie channels, the internet and digital phone services will not go up.
