Cameron Meredith Named to Ted Hendricks Award Watch List

Nebraska defensive end Cameron Meredith received his second watch list recognition of the fall, as he was named one of 35 candidates for the Ted Hendricks Defensive End-of-the-Year Award.

Meredith, a second-team All-Big 12 selection last season, totaled 64 tackles, including eight tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks for the Blackshirts. The 6-foot-4, 260-pound defensive end was second on the squad with 10 quarterback hurries and had at least five tackles in seven games last season, his first as a starter. Meredith helped the Blackshirts rank in the top 12 nationally in both scoring
and total defense in 2010, as the Huskers went 10-4 and reached the conference title game for the second straight season.
