Car stolen, rammed into Chipotle Restaurant

A joyride turns destructive when the driver of a stolen car crashes into the front of a building.

The car slammed into the front pillar of the Chipotle Mexican Grill on 27th and Pine Lake.  

The call came in around midnight when an employee at Noodles & Company nearby heard a loud crash.

Police say someone stole the 2005 Ford Focus from Anderson Auto Group near 32nd and Yankee Hill.

The collision smashed in the front bumper of the stolen car and damaged bricks on a pillar in front of the restaurant.

Lincoln Police say the crash caused about $8000 in damage to the business.

Police have no suspects.
