Census Bureau Needs To Fill Jobs
Officials with the U.S. Census Bureau are gearing up for the 2010 count and are needing to fill thousands of temporary jobs.
The next stage of census operations requires hundreds of people to visit Nebraska homes to verify addresses. Census officials say doing that will improve accuracy when mailing surveys and contacting people in 2010.
The bureau is needing to fill several positions with people who know their local area well and can work as many as 40 hours a week.
Applicants should be at least 18 years old and U.S. citizens. They must take a written test of basic skills and pass a security check.
