Channel 8 Eyewitness News Call To Action…

Volunteer Partners needs your help to solve Lincoln's Graffiti problem.    Individual Volunteers, Team Leaders and adult-supervised youth groups are wanted to help clean up Graffiti throughout the city.  If you are interested in volunteering or making a cash donation for supplies, contact volunteer partners at 402-435-2100

The problem is getting worse and the need for volunteers is even greater.   Volunteer Partners is looking for long-term team leaders and volunteers because this is a long-term project.   However, if you are only interested in temporary assignments, volunteer partners still wants to hear from you.

Volunteer Partners is also looking for cash donations and businesses willing to donate supplies.  The goal is to find paint that is the same color as the vandalized property.   The city paints over Graffiti on public property but does not paint Graffiti on private property.

You are encouraged to call 9-1-1 if you see someone spray painting graffiti.  Gangs and vandals are usually responsible for graffiti.

Our goal is to establish four groups of volunteers in Southwest, Northwest, Southeast and Northeast Lincoln.  This is a joint effort between Volunteer Partners, Councilwoman Patte Newman, Lincoln Police Department, HUB an organization for Lincoln's troubled youth and Channel 8 Eyewitness News.
