Channel 8 KLKN-TV and Williamson Honda Have the Perfect Fit

Twenty two qualifers lined up at the new location of Williamson Honda on Wednesday night to collect a key in the hopes that the key they chose was the perfect fit to win the Honda Fit.  It only took five keys to answer the big question.  Brent Roth of Milford had the key that turned the ignition switch and won the 2007 Honda Fit.

Many of the qualifiers brought family and friends and all were treated to hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and Pepsi as part of Channel 8 Eyewitness News Backyard BBQ will Kevin Coskren sponsored by Super Saver and Capitol Patio and the Flame Shop.  Ben Murphy of Williamson Honda passed a bag with the 22 keys to the qualifiers who reached in and pulled out the envelope they hoped contained the key that would start the car.  The first four keys did not turn the ignition switch, but the fifth one held by Brent Roth did.

Hundreds of people stopped by the new Williamson Honda on 27th and Yankee Hill Road to fill out an entry form to enter the contest.  Daily names were drawn and announced during the Channel 8 Eyewitness News at Ten.  Those who qualified for the drawing called in after they saw their name on the screen.  Qualifiers also received a $25 gift card to Famous Dave's BBQ.

Congratulations to Brent and his family.  And thanks to our sponsors and viewers who participated.
