Child hit by car

A young boy is recovering after getting hit by a car on his way to school.
It happened near 19th and Superior just before 8:30 Tuesday morning. Police say the boy was crossing the street when the vehicle struck him.
He was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
