Chrysler Recalls Minivans
Chrysler is recalling about 500-thousand minivans, the years cover 1996 to 1998. DaimlerChrysler is recalling about 500,000 minivans because of a potentially misplaced part that could cause the vehicles' air bags, horns, or cruise control systems to fail. The minivans are from the 1996-1998 model years and were sold in the United States and canada.
They were sold under the Dodge Grand Caravan, Dodge Caravan, Plymouth Grand Voyager, Voyager, and Chrysler Town & Country nameplates. Chrysler will also offer a lifetime warranty on the “clock spring” in an additional 1.3 minivans from the same 1996-1998 because the part may have been installed improperly.
