A Lincoln woman has announced her run for the Lincoln City Council.
Leirion Gaylor Baird wants one of 3 at-large seats up for grabs next spring. She says her goal is to build strong neighborhoods, families and economic opportunity.
The top three vote getters in the May 2012 election will win the three at–large Lincoln City Council seats. Gaylor Baird, 41, is currently a Planning Commissioner appointed by Mayor Chris Beutler in 2007. She and her husband, Scott, have three children.
