Clarence Thomas will deliver UNL graduation address

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas will be in Lincoln next month to deliver the commencement address to graduates of the University of Nebraska's law school.  Thomas, who will deliver the address on May 7, will be the first sitting Supreme Court justice to participate in the law school's commencement. Thomas was appointed to the high court by President George H.W. Bush, and he took his seat in 1991. Thomas married Virginia Lamp in 1987. His wife's family is from Nebraska, and his father-in-law lives in Lincoln.
