Clinic With A Heart Information

It's the giving season, but it's also flu and cold season.

So one local program is giving away free health care for kids in December.

Clinic with a Heart is a free clinic staffed with volunteers who help both adults and children.

And this holiday season Clinic with a Heart will reach even farther and visit two Lincoln elementary schools for free children's clinics giving free medical care to children in 5th grade and younger.

“It's free, walk in, urgent care, therapy, they'll usually see a pediatrician,”

Clinic with Heart hands out $4 prescriptions and can do strep tests and has language interpreters on hand.

All for free thanks to local churches, the community learning centers, and volunteers like Dr. Northcutt who encourages people to check out the clinic.

“If you're lacking the resources, we are here, and we're a good entry point into the health community.”

The clinic is open four nights a month at the Center for People in Need.

But it will set up shop at McPhee elementary on December 4th and Saratoga elementary on December 17th. Your child doesn't have to go to those schools to get the free care.
