Convicted Killer in Norfolk Bank Slayings Sentenced

A 27-year-old suspect in the slaying of five people in a Norfolk bank almost two years ago was sentenced to five life terms in prison Friday. Gabriel Rodriguez of Norfolk had been found guilty of five counts of first-degree murder in his trial. He also was given another 50-to-100 years for five weapons counts. The sentences are to be served consecutively. Also convicted in the case have been Jose Sandoval, Erick Vela, and Jorge Galindo.
