Dedrick Mills hopes to bring “beast mode” to Husker backfield
LINCOLN – Call Scott Frost’s offense lightning, if you will.
Dedrick Mills will provide all the thunder this storm needs.
“I like to run people over.”
The newest Husker starting running back spoke music to Big Red fans’ ears with his statements on physicality Monday. He calls himself a one-cut back and likens his game to “Beast Mode” – former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch.
And as the junior embarks on his new journey, a second chance at Division 1 football after transferring from Garden City Community College in Kansas, he sets high expectations for himself and his teammates.
Sports director Andrew Ward sits down with Mills to get to know the new version of one of the ACC’s best backs in 2016.
