Department Of Corrections Employee Arrested In Drug Bust
A south Lincoln couple was arrested after police found large amounts of drugs and drug manufacturing equipment in their home. One of the suspects works for the state department of corrections. The employee is not accused of smuggling drugs into the prison system. The possibility of it has corrections officials worried. Jack and Rhonda Meister were arrested after police say they found 70 marijuana plants, 18 mushroom colonies and various growing equipment in the home. Because of Jack meister's arrest, the department of corrections will conduct an internal investigation.
