Hindman stabs husband, daughter and self to death
The Saunders County Attorney released more information on the tragic deaths of a former Lincoln family.
Saunders County Attorney Scott Tingelhoff says 45-year-old Toni Hindman stabbed her husband, 47-year-old Tim, and their 12-year-old daughter, Ardena, to death before setting the house on fire and then turning the knife on herself.
Tingelhoff say evidence from a computer inside the home showed a search for depression treatment and suicide methods.
The Hindmans' bodies were found in separate rooms inside their rural Ithaca home on February 20th.
The Hindmans moved to Ithaca last fall after living for years in Lincoln. The family was very active in the Catholic Church. Tim Hindman was employed at Duncan Aviation in Lincoln. Toni volunteered at Bishop Neumann school in Wahoo. Ardena was a student at St. Wenceslaus school in Wahoo.
The Hindman's lost their 3-year-old daughter Jessica to cancer in 2005.
