Lincoln police say robbery suspects attacked a Weeping Water woman with a knife.

Lincoln Police Officer Katie Flood says the victim was leaving a friend's home near 48th and Madison in north Lincoln at 5:30 Thursday morning.  Flood says a man and a woman approached the victim and demanded her purse.  When she refused, police say the man cut the woman's arm with a pocketknife and hit her face.  The two suspects got into an SUV driven by a 2nd man and left.

Police say the woman drove herself to the hospital and required treatment to her arm.  She described the man with the knife as white, mid 20's, 6' tall, and has a slim build.  They got into an early 90's tan Ford Explorer.
